Sierra Small Scenes

I’ve really been enjoying shooting smaller scenes in the Eastern Sierra and elsewhere this winter. The Sierra means so much to me and I was reminded why it’s still my favorite place in the world on two recent trips. I don’t expect to ever stop coming back and finding new aspects of the landscape that speak to me.
It has been a lot of fun training my eye to see these types of compositions over the last few months, as well as experimenting with some new editing techniques. I see these images as a reflection of significant recent growth as a photographer, and I'm finding that working on these is improving my ability to shoot and edit landscapes at all scales.
